Meeting Minutes 11/26

Nice meeting! We had the stage, finally! Yay, go team!  If you weren't there, you know the drill for make-ups: Commons, at a table near the gym, during access time. Reading this does not count as making it up, this is merely a reference point. This meeting focused on Craft Fair (given it is this Saturday), so I'm a gonna start off with that.

Craft Fair

  • Saturday, December 1st, 9 AM to 4 PM.
  • Set up starts at 8 AM, and we must be completely cleaned up and out of there by 5 PM.
  • If you are available to help, set up, your assistance would be much appreciated.
  • Shifts were assigned and are as follows:
    • 9 to 11 - Danielle, Mitchell, Aria, Madison
    • 11 to 1 - Jezeth, Evan, Rachel, Patrick
    • 1 to 3 - Maddie, Ivy, Aylea, Jordan
    • 3 through Cleanup - Paul, Audrey, Sophie
  • If you really want to work one of those shifts, but were not assigned, you can talk to one of those people listed and see if they'll allow you to take their place.
  • Remember we want only about 4 people at the booth at a time, not overcrowded and not under-staffed.
  • If you are working the booth, remember to act and dress professional. )A show shirt or thespian sweatshirt might be nice touch to show Theatre pride.)
Cardwork's Gift Wrapping
  • Good job and thanks again to those of you who helped with that.
  • Round two of gift wrapping is scheduled to happen the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas, December 22nd & 23rd
  • Emily Akamian has information about a gift wrapping class if you are interested in learning proper technique.
Winter Formal
  • Saturday, December 15th, 7 PM to 10 PM
  • In the Cafeteria
  • The theme is Let It Snow
  • Spread the word to all your friends to check it out
  • We will be decorating the preceding Friday, December 14th
  • We will be selling tickets in both the commons and cafeteria during both lunches the week leading up to the dance. Sign up sheets will be posted in the scene shop by the end of this week.
Regionals
  • February 2nd
  • Use your time wisely in rehearsing your pieces, as it will be here before you know it.
  • Todd has information sheets regarding format, times, etc. Information can also be found on oregonthespians.org
